Haeckel's fishes

This morning I'm working on a pretty terrible assignment for my illustration classes. I have to try to make something like an exact copy of this picture. Please zoom in to see how incredibly detailed it is :'). So here is my attempt:

    Which one is yours? O.O I assume the bottom one, but I can't see the diffirence. So that's a really amazing job!
